4 hours agoI have had accounts on multiple different instances since I started exploring activitypub based social media. Instances can be so different, I would never stick with just one. I guess I can answer what would make me leave one though. First thought, mod protected hate speech under the guise of free speech.
I wonder to what degree the “panic” brought awareness to people who otherwise would have just gone along with it because they weren’t educated on the risks. Impossible to measure to be sure but I imagine it had some positive impact.
